Aha! I've finally finished an Illustration Friday topic. I've been feeling so uninspired by the words lately, and this week's theme was no different. However, I was in a dreadful mood last night and today, and when I saw this illustration by Flossy-P, I was inspired to turn my grumpiness into art.

I'm not sure if the fenced in creature is female or gay, or perhaps a lesbian. Maybe blue cats just hate the color pink. All I know is that the other ones hate any differences. It's ironic, though, since my shaky hands mean that none of them are really the same, but I guess that there are certain differences that they just won't tolerate.
I have prints available at the shop.

I feel so sorry for the pink cat!
You know, the cats look like people's heads too when you take the stomach as the mouth. They look like devil faces. Is this on purpose? Anyway, that's clever.

Flossy P is always an inspiration, isn't she?

Thanks, all!
David: I think I need to get my moodiness out in drawings more often. I felt grumpy the whole time I was drawing this, but once it was done, so was my bad mood. Interesting... I've been wondering lately what sorts of certification I'd need for art therapy. I find that to be a really interesting field, plus I'd know how to help myself a bit here and there, too.
Dewina: I really hadn't made the connection between the kitty ears and devil horns, but that's a very good point. (No pun intended.) At first, I meant for all of these to be bears, with rounded ears, but it just didn't look right. I then turned them into kitty ears, which was almost there. Then, I realized I could make them into angry kitty ears (airplane ears, right?), and that seemed perfect. I wonder if that was a subconcious desire to create the perfect devilish shape.

This is great. I love the fence especially; it says a thousand words.
