Strange Folk Festival was really good. I even managed to walk away with a few goodies.

This is a Pencil Sprite by Das Kaninchen. She was super-sweet and even knew my work, which was really exciting for me. I traded a ghostie plaque and a mushroom for this little guy and one of her amazing Fibonacci brooches.

This is Sarah Ogren's "Mom" collage, which I love. I hung it up next to one of my ghostie plaques, but not the one that I traded.
Other excitement happened, including a lot of people who recognized my work from around St. Louis and beyond. I also got to meet StellaLoella of Etsy fame, who was kind enough to put one of my prints on the front page the day of the festival.
I may write more about the festival, especially if David can provide me with some photos (I never manage to take a picture of my table at craft fairs, and my tent was a disaster that I'd rather forget), but right now I'm still battling fatigue from lack of sleep and a push-up contest with Kieran.

I got jealous so I did a blog about it too:

Oh... and Cate... Feel free to use any photos from the CY flickr page!
Call me later too. I have a meeting in about 20 min.

Thanks, David. I have taken full advantage. And I'll try to call you later. I do have a ton of bill-paying work to catch up on, but I did get five hours of it done yesterday, and I even started a drawing. I can never seem to switch myself off after one of these craft events.
P.S.: Will we need a tent for Peelander-Z? Should I hurry up and get one??

Erm... Let me message Unique Ink.
Make sure I actually messaged him when you call. I've got a ton on my plate today too!

I had an idea on the car-ride home Miss Cateward:
Next time, and for all other events, we need to hang up a side that says "Credit cards accepted".
I bet we'd have sold more higher-priced items if we made that clear.
